What this website collects, what it deliberately does not, and how we handle what you send us. Last updated July 18, 2026.
The only personal information this website collects is what you type into our contact forms: your name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method, the study you are asking about, and an optional message. We ask you not to include personal health details in messages; screening questions are asked by our research team by phone.
The self-check questionnaires on study pages run entirely on your device. Your answers are never transmitted to us, stored, or tracked, and they are never shared with any analytics service. The same is true of anything you type into our forms.
Contact details you submit are used for one purpose: so our research team can respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, talk with you about study participation. Formal screening, consent, and any collection of health information happen with the research team directly, under the study's research ethics board approved process, not through this website.
Form submissions are delivered to our research team by email through a transactional email provider acting as a service provider. We do not sell personal information and do not share it with advertisers.
Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process technical signals from your browser to distinguish people from bots. Turnstile is a bot-detection service and is not used to identify you.
This website uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-8Z09SMLNNC) to understand overall traffic: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, approximate region, and device type. It sets analytics cookies in your browser. We have disabled Google Signals and ad personalization, and we send no custom events, so your self-check answers and anything you type are never shared with analytics. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings without affecting the site.
Inquiry emails are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and are then deleted in the ordinary course. Information you later provide to the research team as part of screening or participation is governed by the study's own consent documents, not this policy.
You may ask us what contact information we hold from your website inquiry, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing researchinfo@allergycentre.ca or calling 437-317-1991.
Some studies enroll adolescents. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian contact us on your behalf.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
